Each August, we set out for Cuttyhunk to enjoy the island’s spectacular fireworks, scenic coastline, lively harbor, and famous raw bar boat. Although Cuttyhunk is a dry island, most visiting boats arrive well provisioned with spirits and other adult beverages. Along the way, we kept our eyes on the horizon, taking in everything from passing vessels and shoreline views to the AToNs—U.S. Coast Guard aids to navigation—that help guide the journey.
